Setting Up Email on a Subdomain in cPanel

In this tutorial we will walk you through setting up an email address on a subdomain ([email protected]) in cPanel.

To set up an email address on a subdomain, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
    Follow this guide to learn how to access your cPanel account.

  2. Under the Email section, select “Email Accounts”.

    Tip: Use the quick search bar at the top of your cPanel account for speedy navigation.

  3. Select the blue “+ Create” button.
    Select Create

  4. Under Domain select your subdomain, enter your Username, Create a Password > then select “+ Create”.
    The Domain is what will be displayed after the “@”.
    The Username is what will be displayed before the “@”.
    The Password is what you will use to access your email and/or configure your email address in an email client.

    Note: You can access more settings (i.e. email storage, folder structure) by selecting “Edit Settings”.

    Note: You should make note of your new email address and password for future reference.

  5. Congratulations, you have successfully created your custom email address!
